Wood String Light Bulb Socket Cover Kit

This wooden light bulb socket cover kit is used in our Filé system and made for use with our custom string lights cables.

So, how's it work you're probably asking. It's pretty easy. First you attach the black thermoplastic socket anywhere you want along one of our string light cables. The two "teeth" inside this socket will bite down and connect to two wires inside the string light cable. You then place the smaller piece of the wooden socket cover to the back of the black socket and place that on the wall or ceiling wherever the socket will be attached. Mark that spot and screw that piece of the wooden socket cover to the wall or ceiling. Then place the black socket on top of that wooden piece. Next place the larger piece of the wooden socket cover over the black socket and screw the two pieces of the wooden socket cover in place with the included screw. Voila!

This product is one of the base components in our Filé system. It can be matched up with other Filé components (wooden wall fairlead, wood string light canopy cover, and terminal block) and our string light cables to create your own originally designed wall or ceiling lights.

This piece is craftmade in Italy in our small workshop from Italian poplar. The natural wood can be painted or stained to whatever color you wish.

What's in the box? Included is the two-piece wooden socket cover with 1 wood screw for attachment to your walls or ceiling, 1 screw for attaching the two pieces of the wood socket cover together, and the two-piece black thermoplastic socket for string lights.
