Wooden Ceiling Canopy Kit - for Pendant Light Cable

This natural wood ceiling canopy has a 3/8 inch (10mm) opening and is for use with all our round and twisted pendant light cloth covered wires.

These wooden ceiling canopies are great to use anywhere you are looking for a clean scandinavian style, shabby chic, or beach & nautical styles. They are made by craftsmen in a small shop outside of Torino, Italy from sustainable and renewable Italian poplar. The wood is completely unfinished and can be painted or stained.

These wooden canopies are made so that the cable goes into the canopy and is held in place by threading the cable through the cable tensioner. So no strain relief is included. However, if you're using these with our cloth covered pendant light cables we highly suggest you consider seperately purchasing a metal cylindrical strain reliefs. The constrast of these work great together. And by combining the texture of the wood with the color and texture of the metal you can create strong design elements. Again, this wooden ceiling canopy kit is to be used with the standard size wooden socket kit. Both are made to work with our round and twisted pendant light cloth covered wire. (Note that this standard size canopy does NOT work with any of our XL through 3XL sized real rope cables. Our rope cables each have a matching size ceiling canopy and socket kit that must be used with the corresponding rope size.)

These canopies are 4.72 inches in diameter and will fill over a standard junction box. However, depending on the layout of your junction box, you may need to separately purchase a universal crossbar mount to attach to the included crossbar. These may also be mounted directly to any flat surface. You can also use these canopy when combined with our light bulb sockets, extension tubes and other lamp parts to make your own wooden wall sconce.
